Internship Overview
As a Global Treasury and Data Analytics Intern at our international headquarters, you will gain valuable experience by supporting the Treasury Front Office. You will deepen your understanding of global financial markets and enhance your strategic financial decision-making capabilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the development of an efficient cash flow forecasting process Creating tailored BI dashboards utilizing modern data visualization tools (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.) Aiding the Treasury Front Office in overseeing global liquidity and cash management. Evaluating cash balances and foreign exchange exposures to recommend actions that mitigate risks and optimize returns, including identifying inefficiencies and proposing innovative solutions Contributing to ongoing Treasury initiatives aimed at process enhancement and automationWith a commendable Glassdoor rating and high intern recommendation score, we promise a unique learning experience as part of our Global Treasury team, where you will acquire hands-on project management skills in data analytics, automation, and corporate finance. You will also learn effective communication with stakeholders and improve departmental efficiency through technology integration.

Here’s what we seek:
Academic Background: You must be enrolled in a Master’s program throughout the internship, preferably in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Econometrics, or a related discipline. Skills: You should possess fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English and show a strong interest in Finance. Proficiency in Excel is essential, with a solid grasp of functions such as VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, and SUM-IFs as a minimum requirement. Experience in coding/scripting, data visualization, and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPlatform would be highly beneficial. Personal Attributes: You should have a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently. Commitment: You should be prepared to dedicate a minimum of six months to this internship. Availability: You can commit to 4-5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring a balance between teamwork and independence.We hope to have sparked your interest, and we encourage you to ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and academic requirements:
Your internship must be part of your study curriculum and contribute to your academic results. Your educational institution must be willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's. You should be either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.Additional Information
