Job Summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Assembler to join our Accelerator Group team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading the assembly and testing of accelerators, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the assembly and testing of accelerators, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
  • Train and mentor new team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful onboarding
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and R&D, to resolve issues and improve processes
  • Develop and maintain clean working methods, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Participate in monthly 5S audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Support daily planning and lead whiteboard meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Perform first-line support, troubleshooting, and testing of various modules
  • Deliver high-quality products on time, meeting customer expectations and company standards
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation

Requirements

  • Secondary technical education (MBO) with at least 2 years of work experience, preferably in mechanics, electronics, or mechatronics
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in both Dutch and English
  • Experience with ESD safe working, vacuum technology, electronic measuring equipment, and Windows-based software installations
