Senior Chef de Partie

Position Overview

As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will play a pivotal role in our culinary operations, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen team to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee food production processes to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and present a diverse menu.
  • Assume a leadership role within the kitchen, guiding team members in both culinary and administrative tasks.
  • Manage stock levels, uphold hygiene standards, and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure that your designated station is organized, clean, and operates smoothly.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments to enhance guest experiences.
  • Stay informed about seasonal ingredients and market trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or 3 years as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality restaurant or luxury hotel.
  • Culinary diploma or equivalent practical training.
  • Passion for Mediterranean cuisine and a commitment to using fresh, local ingredients.
  • Proven leadership abilities and a strong team-oriented mindset.
  • Flexibility in scheduling to meet operational needs.
  • Strong knowledge of 'HACCP' standards.
  • Creative, motivated, and hands-on approach to culinary tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
