About the Role

The QESH Business Partner will be responsible for:

  • Leading a dedicated team of QESH Officers assigned to sites within the BU Groceries region
  • Ensuring QESH Officers fulfill their tasks and responsibilities in a structural and high-quality manner
  • Managing designated QESH Officers of sites within the BU Groceries region
  • Assisting in the implementation of Corporate cultural change programs, including 'Road to Zero' at a local level
  • Creating and maintaining a well-organized work structure for QESH Officers within the BU Groceries region
  • Supporting designated QESH Officers on complex cases within the QESH Be Ne department's scope of work
  • Performing requested and unannounced audits, checks, or inspections on relevant QESH topics on sites
  • Developing policy and procedures, in cooperation with the QESH Manager Be Ne, to be implemented as standards within the Be Ne organization on QESH-related topics
  • Developing and maintaining a professional and structured framework for QESH officers to ensure effective advice and results towards other stakeholders within the Be Ne organization
  • Drafting audit and inspection reports based on internal audits, checks, and inspections, providing actions, advice, and guidelines to ensure compliance with QESH-related topics
  • Cooperating with external suppliers to work towards solutions that help the organization if required due to unavailable competence or solutions internally
  • Escalation and intervention towards Site Managers in cooperation with QESH Manager Be Ne in case of emergency or major nonconformities identified that form a business risk within QESH-related topics
  • Involved and approved of incident management and all activities involved to ensure proper start and completion of such
  • Translating law and regulation into usable and practical advice that fits within the organizational structure and methods of work in cooperation with QESH Manager Be Ne
  • Promoting the integration and use of a well-established quality management system based on applicable quality standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, by sites within the BU Groceries region
  • Engendering and operating in a culture of zero tolerance of accidents and self-inflicted incidents
  • Aiding and supporting where required to the QESH Manager Be Ne for projects or reports both internally and externally required

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and Food Safety, Hygiene, and Business Continuity Standards
  • Broad experience in the field of Health & Safety
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and preferably Dutch
  • Self-driven, resilient, and able to thrive in a challenging environment
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work and having a professional critical attitude and a straight back
  • Result-oriented and like to work pro-actively
  • People person and have great communication skills
