Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Logistics and Hub Manager to oversee operations at our third-party logistics (3PL) facility in Venlo, dedicated to supporting our automotive clientele. This role is crucial in managing the supply chain for automotive production lines, ensuring that customer requirements are met while optimizing logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Delta manufacturing facilities for effective supply and demand forecasting.
- Oversee and streamline inbound shipments from Asia to the 3PL site.
- Ensure adequate 3PL resources are available for handling inbound logistics, customs clearance, repacking, and outbound distribution.
- Develop and implement new processes and enhancements within the 3PL to align with customer expectations.
- Conduct monthly business reviews and key performance indicator assessments with service providers.
- Partner with sales teams to address new customer requirements and optimize operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in automotive logistics.
- Proficiency in managing dynamic supply and demand scenarios.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in another European language or Chinese is advantageous.
- Expertise in negotiation and collaboration with cross-functional teams and business partners.
- A customer-focused mindset with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately.
