We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Team Lead to join our team at LyondellBasell.

Job Description

The Sales Operations Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing a small team of Technical Service Specialists and Sales Analysts, developing regional technical service strategies, managing product handling processes, and ensuring proper representation on industry panels such as CEFIC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Safety and regional technical service teams to coordinate processes and reporting.
  • Manage training on I&D products and end uses for Sales, Marketing, Planning, and other functional groups.
  • Ensure proper representation for LYB on industry panels and influence external regulatory and compliance decisions.
  • Consult with Business Management, Supply Chain, and Sales to manage technical product issues.
  • Develop and gain endorsement for regional EMEA technical service strategy in coordination with the Americas and Asia.
  • Manage team participation in business support activities, including assessments of logistics service providers and incident root cause analyses.
  • Work closely with Sales, Business, and support functions to drive continuous improvement projects that solve challenges related to the LYB customer experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Technical or Business bachelor's degree, master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the chemical industry, in technical and/or commercial roles.
  • Experience managing a team of professionals is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of LYB product lines and processes, including familiarity with product end uses, is a plus.
  • Well-developed communication, problem-solving, project management, and decision-making skills.
  • Practical experience in or affinity with Sales Processes and Customer Management.
  • Fluency in English required, additional local language(s) a plus.
