Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are Walker & Dunlop, a leading provider of capital to the commercial real estate industry. We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our WDTech Engineering team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by implementing quality assurance through automated testing. This role will involve analyzing functional and technical requirements, understanding business and user needs, and performing functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing of services in our tech stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze functional and technical requirements to identify inconsistencies or insufficiencies
  • Understand business and user needs deeply
  • Perform functional testing, performance testing, and regression testing of services in our tech stack
  • Define quality metrics that are informative, clear, and understandable
  • Build continuous integration and deployment solutions
  • Communicate reports that provide insight on quality metrics

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of Quality Assurance Engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks relevant to Vue, Python, and TypeScript (e.g., Cypress, PyTest, Mocha, Jest)
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
