About the Role

At SkyTeam, we're driven by a passion for innovation and a commitment to sustainability. As a key player in the aviation industry, we're constantly seeking ways to reduce our environmental impact and promote more eco-friendly practices. We're now looking for a talented Content Creation Intern to join our PR & Communications Team and help us share the story of our sustainability initiatives.

This exciting internship opportunity is part of our Aviation Challenge, an ambitious initiative aimed at inspiring and accelerating the adoption of more sustainable practices within the aviation industry. As a Content Creation Intern, you'll play a crucial role in uncovering and sharing the inspiring stories behind the participating airlines' journey towards low-emission aviation.

  • Storytelling: Uncover and narrate the compelling stories of airlines participating in The Aviation Challenge, highlighting their struggles, successes, and practical examples of adopting and scaling more sustainable solutions.
  • Repository Development: Collaborate with our communications team and airline representatives to gather submissions for our solutions repository, featuring 470 initiatives submitted since the challenge's inception in 2022.
  • Content Improvement: Help elevate the overall quality of content on the repository, ensuring it's informative, engaging, and accurately reflects the solutions' impact and efforts of the airlines.
  • Information Management: Assist in organizing and maintaining the content on the repository to ensure it's easily accessible and user-friendly for all stakeholders.
  • Community Engagement: Assist our Engagement Lead in refining and disseminating knowledge from the solutions repository, transforming complex information into clear, understandable, and inspiring content that others can learn from.
Your Profile

We're looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual with a passion for sustainability and storytelling. As a Content Creation Intern, you'll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team, develop your skills, and contribute to a meaningful initiative that promotes sustainability in aviation.

  • You must be actively enrolled in a university program in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong (copy) writing and storytelling skills with an eye for detail.
  • Passionate about sustainability and environmental issues.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity for geographical contexts.
  • Fluent English language skills (verbal and written), ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all forms of communication.
  • Basic knowledge of the aviation industry is a plus.
