Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity and Governance Expert to join our Internal Audit team. In this role, you will spend 50% of your time on Information Security and the other 50% on Governance, Risk & Compliance.

You will be responsible for defining the information security strategy, organizing and managing information security in accordance with the needs and risk appetite of the organization, and ensuring a well-organized security structure is in place.

You will also take the lead in implementing and maintaining our cybersecurity measures, ensuring that all employees are aware of information security. While you focus on the overall cybersecurity strategy and the human aspects of security, the technical responsibilities will be handled by our Manager of Application and Infrastructure.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting security and internal control awareness.
  • Leading and coordinating organization-wide information security activities and projects, ensuring our security measures always meet the standards.
  • Proactively addressing business inquiries and bringing in specialized expertise when needed to find the best solutions.
  • Ensuring the best quality in information risk assessments, security designs, and solutions through continuous monitoring and improvement.
  • Monitoring compliance with information security policies, legislation, and regulations based on assessments, tests, reviews, and audits conducted by IA and external parties.
  • Keeping senior management informed about the current status of information security and presenting improvement proposals to elevate our security standards.
  • Adapting the organization's information security and IT security strategy to new developments, ensuring we stay ahead in the field.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a salary between €4,300.00 and €6,400.00 gross per month, depending on experience, along with a range of benefits including:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Several years of experience in a Governance, Risk, and Compliance role.
  • Skill in SAP.
  • Professional communication and consulting skills (both oral and written) in English and Dutch.
