We are seeking a Head of IT Operations for a mid-sized trading organization.
Your primary objective will be to elevate the IT department to a higher level of maturity, emphasizing standardization, reusability, and dependability.

OverviewPosition Summary - Head of IT Operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategic IT initiatives that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Guide the assessment of buy-build decisions concerning IT solutions and technologies.
  • Establish and uphold governance frameworks to ensure adherence to compliance, risk management, and security standards.
  • Supervise the provision of IT services, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business processes and foster innovation.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the IT department.
QualificationsCandidate Profile - Head of IT Operations

The ideal candidate will possess a proven history in financial services, particularly in trading, and exhibit outstanding leadership in steering IT strategy, governance, and service delivery.

  • In-depth knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities with the ability to assess complex technical solutions and provide sound recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to influence and motivate teams at all levels.
  • Residency in the Netherlands is required; an existing visa can be transferred.
