Welcome to the Apollo Hotel Amsterdam, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, where we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Duty Management Intern to join our team. As a key member of our Front Office department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has an unforgettable experience at our hotel.

Company Overview

We are a unique and dynamic hotel located in the heart of Amsterdam South, offering stunning views of five canals and surrounded by numerous museums, parks, and the Amsterdam RAI convention center. Our guests enjoy fine French cuisine at The Living Room by Bodon and international favorites at The Harbor Club Amsterdam Zuid. We offer several options for events, including a roof terrace and an outstanding ballroom, all supported by expert catering.

Job Description

As a Duty Management Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with daily operations, ensuring that all guest rooms are clean and tidy, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests. You will work closely with our Front Office team to resolve any issues or complaints that may arise, and will also assist with maintaining accurate records and reports. This is a versatile and dynamic internship that will give you hands-on experience in safety procedures, complaint handling, and room-related bottlenecks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You are a current student pursuing a degree in hospitality management or a related field.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • You have good knowledge of the Dutch and English language.
