Job Summary

Fugro is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our EUAF Procurement & Supply Chain team. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of materials, components, and products to meet production schedules and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communication and Coordination: Effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and freight carriers to resolve issues and minimize delays.
  • Tracking and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of orders, shipments, and delivery schedules.
  • Problem Solving and Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing solutions to streamline operations.
  • Order Management: Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and products.

Requirements

  • You are fluent in English.
  • You have higher vocational education in a related field or are working towards a qualification.
  • You have proven experience as an expeditor or in a similar role, preferably with a minimum of 2 years in a multinational company.
  • You have strong organisational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • You work well independently and as part of a team.
