Procurement Manager – Packaging Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our packaging procurement efforts in France and the Netherlands. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic category plans, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost optimization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies for packaging, focusing on cost reduction, supply continuity, and sustainability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with pladis' terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, supply chain, and R&D, to deliver local projects and drive business continuity.
  • Provide input into global packaging categories and supplier segmentation, ensuring alignment with local needs.
  • Implement local procurement processes and tools, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Minimum years of experience in FMCG procurement, preferably with a focus on packaging.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Project management and leadership skills, with the ability to lead multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to think strategically and set category plans.
  • Analytical mindset and pragmatic approach.
  • Results-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality results.
