Job Title: Procurement Manager – Packaging

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead our packaging procurement efforts in France and the Netherlands. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic category plans, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement local category strategies for packaging, focusing on key strategic deliverables: cost-out, cash flow, supply continuity, sustainability, and innovation.
  • Build strong SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) across local strategic suppliers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with local teams (manufacturing sites, supply chain, R&D, Finance, etc.) to deliver local projects for productivity and business continuity.
  • Provide input into the global packaging categories and supplier segmentation, and manage suppliers related to local categories.
  • Connect and interact efficiently with the global team to align the packaging global strategies with local needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum years of relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to ensure strong relationship management.
  • Negotiation and commercial analytical skills.
  • Project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead multiple workstreams and work in a team while managing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and set a year category plan.
  • Analytical mindset and pragmatic approach.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Understanding of sustainability opportunities in the packaging landscape.
