Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Officer to join our Conduct Compliance & Ethics team. As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing compliance risk topics and areas of attention, setting risk-based priorities, and ensuring proper compliance risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the steering and managing of the expert area Mortgages, setting risk-based priorities for the content areas.
  • Contribute to DBNL's vision 'sustainable progress for all.'
  • Support the Expert Lead in the operational management of the expert area and provide perspective on decision-making for your content areas.
  • Manage the processes and activities within your content areas and provide accurate and timely reporting to the Expert Lead and Tribe management.
  • Steer collaboration between the content areas and the other parts of the Tribe.
  • Follow up on, advise on, and challenge the compliance risks associated within the content area.

Requirements:

  • Senior Compliance expert with at least 7+ years professional experience in Compliance, Risk, and/or NFR within a banking environment.
  • Solid knowledge of the Dutch mortgages market and applicable rules and regulations.
  • Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work across functional lines.
  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent level of English and Dutch (verbal/written).
