Job Title: Compliance Officer - Global Safety Expert

Join Yacht as a Compliance Officer - Global Safety Expert and take on a challenging role that requires a deep understanding of global safety regulations and standards, particularly within the EU. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our branded household appliances meet safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and interpret global safety regulations and standards, ensuring compliance across all markets.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety and regulatory protocols, staying up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Train internal teams and stakeholders on safety and regulatory protocols, ensuring timely implementation of safety and compliance measures.
  • Lead important turnaround projects in product compliance and market access on a global scale, representing the company at Council level in industry associations and regulatory bodies.
  • Manage the team responsible for ensuring all branded household appliances meet safety and compliance standards, monitoring safety incidents in the market and driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Advanced degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field with a focus on safety and compliance.
  • Minimum of 20 years in regulatory compliance, safety management, or a related field within the home appliances industry.
  • Proven competence in risk assessment, management, and mitigation, experience in reporting safety incidents and managing product recalls, and experience in managing transformational projects.
  • Strong leadership with project management skills, excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, and a deep understanding of global safety regulations and standards.
