We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Transformation Lead to join our team at adidas.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, data transformation, and analytics. They will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of data-driven solutions to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop tailored solutions using data engineering and BI reporting tools. Your expertise will help us to create transparent and accurate data sets, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
You will lead a team of external data engineers/IT developers, define 'data engineering' tasks, and monitor ETLs on a regular basis. Additionally, you will act as a solution architect to implement efficient data models & data pipelines by following the Data governance rules defined within lakehouse.
Your focus will be on reducing costs and improving performance by optimizing data pipelines & attribute/metric logics. You will prioritize, plan, monitor, and communicate the reporting development done in an Agile mode by the IT engineers in the 'Back-End Application layer' in close collaboration with the Global D&A team in charge of data ingestion.
As a Supply Chain Data Transformation Lead, you will ensure that all relevant metrics are developed in a format and frequency suitable to meeting business requirements and objectives. You will also manage Supply Chain end-to-end visibility improvements and deliver in a timely manner on relevant reporting products.
