Job Title: Python Developer

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to contribute to our team in Amsterdam, Netherlands. As a Python Developer, you will play a key role in enabling continuous delivery, preventing technical debt, and driving high-quality results. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team adheres to industry standards and best practices, optimising the use of Python frameworks, and contributing to software architecture and technical designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement continuous delivery using tools such as Jenkins and ArgoCD
  2. Proactively identify and address potential technical debt issues
  3. Motivate the team to deliver high-quality results according to expectations or exceed them
  4. Foster a culture of critical thinking and decision-making, while accepting decisions made by the majority
  5. Ensure that the team is aware of and adheres to industry standards and best practices during development
  6. Work comfortably with agile startup methodologies
  7. Optimise the use of Python frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity
  8. Ensure that all projects have sufficient and up-to-date documentation
  9. Contribute to software architecture and technical designs, providing expertise and guidance to the team
Requirements:
  1. Strong experience in Python development, with a focus on continuous delivery and technical debt prevention
  2. Excellent communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members
  3. Strong understanding of agile startup methodologies and experience working in a fast-paced environment
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work modes (onsite or hybrid)
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues proactively
