As a Lecturer International Business at HZ University of Applied Sciences, you will be part of an ambitious and innovative team. Your primary responsibility will be to coach and motivate students, helping them develop their professional skills and knowledge. You will design education in a practice-oriented way, taking into account social trends and innovative approaches. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team will be essential in this role. You will be responsible for maintaining contacts with the professional field and ensuring that students are well-prepared to put their knowledge into practice. In addition, you will determine the learning pathway together with the student, inspiring, exciting, and challenging the new generation. You will have a completed Bachelor's or Master's degree and work experience in a relevant field, as well as extensive experience in higher education and involvement in building curricula. You will be able to coach well and communicate clearly, with excellent command of Dutch and English. You will have good planning and organisational skills and be result-oriented, with well-developed teaching and coaching skills. You will be part of a vibrant community where there is plenty of room for unique ideas and the development of your talents. Requirements:
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree and work experience in a relevant field;
- Extensive experience in higher education and involvement in building curricula;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Good planning and organisational skills and be result-oriented;
- Well-developed teaching and coaching skills;
What We Offer:
- A temporary appointment for one year in the position of Lecturer;
- A gross monthly salary between € 4,173.75 and € 6,359.47 for full-time employment;
- Support in obtaining a basic qualification in didactical competence if you do not have one already;
- 8.3% end-of-year bonus, 8% holiday allowance and possibly an allowance for travel expenses and/or allowance when working remotely;
- About 53 days off if you work full-time;
