The RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team in Vlissingen. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department, including personnel administration, reporting, and data analysis. You will work closely with the HR Director and HR Advisors to ensure a complete and accurate HR administration.
Key Responsibilities- Execute all administrative processes within the HR and recruitment process
- Organize and manage the onboarding and introduction process for new employees
- Ensure a personnel administration that meets Dutch tax and regulatory requirements
- Timely register and submit salary instructions to the payroll administration
- Manage an employee development and training administration and take necessary follow-up actions
- Responsible for translating data from HR systems (Afas and Workday) into dashboards and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Create business insights with data and advise HR Advisors on findings
- Manage the absence administration and follow up on procedures
- Minimum MBO-4 education, preferably supplemented with relevant courses and training
- At least two years of experience in HR administration in an international organization
- Good command of both Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Preferably basic knowledge of Dutch labor law and relevant HR procedures and processes
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as HR systems such as Workday and Afas
- Competencies: customer focus, teamwork, quality and result orientation, behavioral flexibility, planning and organization, and high standards for own work
- Excellent references, as a pre-employment screening and security check are standard parts of the recruitment process
- A permanent EU citizenship in combination with an EU work visa are requirements within the recruitment process for our employees, due to the military nature of our projects
