Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at 0563 Varex Imaging Nederland BV.
As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products purchased from our suppliers. You will work closely with our quality, purchasing, logistics, engineering, and production departments to identify and resolve quality issues.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Visiting suppliers to assess their processes and collaborate on improvements.
- Following up on quality problems with suppliers and during incoming goods inspection, in collaboration with our procurement and engineering team.
- Providing input for and assessing technical purchasing specifications.
- Assessing change requests from suppliers.
- Managing the Global Supplier Audit Program, planning and carrying out supplier audits, including reporting and follow-up.
- Collaborating with our purchasing and engineering department in the selection of new and development of existing suppliers.
- Supporting our quality department in carrying out internal audits, corrective and preventive actions, and improving business processes and associated quality documentation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong understanding of quality management systems, including ISO-9001.
- Experience with Lean, 8D, RCA, PPAP, and other quality-related tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in a quality assurance or supply chain role.
