The Role

We are seeking an experienced data analytics professional to lead our internal audit data analytics efforts. As a Senior Internal Audit Data Analytics Specialist, you will design, develop, and execute data analytics initiatives specifically for Ayvens' third line of defense (internal controls and risk management). Your primary focus will be on maintaining and updating our data analytics strategy and roadmap, collaborating closely with the Audit Manager Data Analytics to achieve objectives outlined in the roadmap.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the existing data analytics strategy and roadmap for the audit function;
  • Collaborate closely with the Audit Manager Data Analytics to achieve objectives outlined in the roadmap;
  • Design, develop, and execute data analytics initiatives specifically for Ayvens' third line of defense (internal controls and risk management);
  • Manage tooling and source code related to developed data analytics programs and queries;
  • Collaborate with auditors and subject matter experts to identify and develop analytic solutions;
  • Provide guidance on interpreting analytics results;

Your Ideal Profile

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in data analytics. The ideal candidate should have:

  • A university degree in data / computer science, management information systems, economics, econometrics, or a related field;
  • At least 3 years of data analytics-related experience, preferably in Audit or Risk-related roles;
  • Well-versed with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, and Spotfire;
  • A good understanding of the end-to-end audit process, including risk-based approaches;Audit-related certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA are a plus;
  • A self-starter and fast learner who can work and learn independently but also share knowledge with the wider team;
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex findings to stakeholders;
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written;
  • Ability to travel occasionally for business purposes, up to 20% of the annual time;

Salary Information

The salary for this position is estimated to be around €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth and development within the company.
