About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at FrieslandCampina. As a key member of our Internal Audit department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of auditors to conduct audits and reviews of our business processes and internal controls;
- Develop and implement audit plans and strategies to ensure the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes;
- Identify and assess risks to the organization and develop recommendations to mitigate these risks;
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop audit plans that meet those needs;
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee;
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in internal audit and risk management;
- Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders;
- Manage and maintain the audit budget and resources;
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- 7-9 years of experience in audits, either in an external or internal audit department;
- Strong analytical skills, project management skills, problem-solving skills, and risk management skills;
- Experience in coaching, motivating, and leading teams;
- Experience in applying internal control principles and data-analytic savvy;
- Strong stakeholder management skills and able to address issues, share best practices, and connect people;
- Professional communication and consulting skills in Dutch and English;
- Able to travel worldwide approximately 20% of your time.
