Job Title: Director of Public Affairs

Gilead Sciences Netherlands BV is seeking a highly skilled Director of Public Affairs to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our Public Affairs team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to promote our company's interests and reputation in the BeNeLux region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance Gilead's corporate reputation and promote our products in the BeNeLux region.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs, Marketing, Government Affairs, and Market Access, to ensure alignment and effective communication of business priorities.
  • Manage media relations, including traditional and social media, to maintain a positive image of Gilead and its products.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community advocates, industry associations, and media representatives.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, press releases, and other communication materials to support business objectives.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field, with a strong background in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful public relations campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of the BeNeLux region and its regulatory environment.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch or another local language.
