Regional Finance Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Director to lead our financial operations at SCHOTTEL Nederland BV. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and local regulations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with a proven track record in financial management, planning, and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's business objectives and growth in the Engines and Power Transmission Equipment Manufacturing industry.
Key responsibilities will include preparing and analyzing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to provide insights and recommendations to senior management for informed decision-making. You will also collaborate with global branches to coordinate financial activities and ensure alignment with the overall corporate financial strategy.
As a Senior Financial Manager, you will lead the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing financial processes, and enhancing internal controls. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with local financial regulations and international accounting standards.
Requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, and professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA. A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation, is also required.
Key skills for this role include strong knowledge of local financial regulations and international accounting standards, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in French and/or Dutch being a plus.
