Senior Application Security Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Security Specialist to join our team at Swift. As a key member of our Agile and DevSecOps teams, you will be responsible for delivering secure applications and coordinating security initiatives.
Responsibilities- Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovative approaches to completing scope of work efficiently.
- Collaborate with Agile and DevSecOps teams to secure their products from application and architecture perspectives.
- Provide security requirements aligned with policies and standards, adapted to technology stacks (Cloud Native, containers, orchestrator, etc.).
- Assist with security technical aspects during software design, development, and operations activities.
- Maintain security standards and guidelines to respond to changes in threats, technology, or best practices.
- Manage and promote the use of security tools in development pipelines and operations.
- Research and assess new threats, vulnerabilities, and security alerts, recommending remedial actions.
- Design and implement capabilities, processes, and/or tools to improve security in the software delivery life cycle, security automation testing, secure by design activities, etc.
- Promote a strong security culture at Swift, treating it as a brand and recognizing its importance.
- Coach and share knowledge with team members.
- Strong understanding of Application Security.
- Security Architecture, including threat modeling.
- Security Requirements definition based on business needs, classification, threats, and risks.
- Demonstrated experience in secure coding, security testing practices, tools, and vulnerability management.
- OWASP top 10.
- SAST, DAST, SCA, API testing, and/or containers vulnerability management.
- Risk assessments experience, using advanced security and analytical skills to evaluate security risks, identify, and design mitigations.
- Understanding of Agile and DevSecOps principles and how to integrate security into them.
