Value Optimization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Value Optimization Specialist to join our team at ASML. As a key member of our Design Engineering and Architecture team, you will play a crucial role in driving cost reduction and value enhancement initiatives across our product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth technical analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities and develop strategies to implement them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, procurement, and manufacturing, to drive cost reduction and value enhancement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain cost models and forecasts to inform business decisions and optimize product cost.
- Lead value engineering activities for key projects, including workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on value engineering methodologies.
- Maintain a network of internal and external partners to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in product architecture, product design, or industrialization.
- Proven track record of cost reduction and value enhancement achievements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
