Job Title: Web Analytics Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Web Analytics Engineer to join our team at Sana Commerce. As a Web Analytics Engineer, you will be responsible for configuring and maintaining web analytics tools, developing and maintaining actionable dashboards and reports, and analyzing web traffic patterns, user behaviors, and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and maintain web analytics tools.
  • Develop and maintain actionable dashboards and reports.
  • Analyze web traffic patterns, user behaviors, and product performance.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve user engagement and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to define key metrics and KPIs.
  • Assist analysts to pull the right data from the warehouse for visualization purposes.
  • Identify and troubleshoot data collection and reporting issues.
  • Support product teams in conducting A/B testing and other optimization experiments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Web Analytics Engineering or a comparable role.
  • Strong proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.).
  • Proficient with SQL and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Looker Studio etc.).
  • Familiar with HTML/JavaScript and related web technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
