About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at Savoy Hotel Rotterdam. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of front office and food and beverage staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front Office Management: Supervise and coordinate the front office team, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Food and Beverage Management: Oversee the food and beverage department, ensuring efficient service, and maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of front office and food and beverage staff, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent performance.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operations Management: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the hotel, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education: Relevant completed education at MBO-4 / HBO level.
  • Experience: Experience in a similar position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Language: Fluent Dutch and English. Knowledge of French, German, or Spanish is an asset.
  • Availability: Available to work a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 5 days per week.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a high sense of responsibility and flexibility.
