Are you looking for a dynamic role that keeps you engaged throughout the day? Do you take pride in your work and enjoy creating pristine environments? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you as a Public Space Maintenance Specialist at Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West.

What does a typical day entail?

Your day begins with collecting your keys, communication devices, and necessary supplies during the handover. After a brief chat with your teammates, you’re ready to dive into your tasks. With enthusiasm, you will start by cleaning and revitalizing the main entrance and lobby area. This includes ensuring that all glass surfaces are spotless and carpets are immaculate. You may encounter guests in the lobby who have inquiries, and with a friendly demeanor, you will assist them.

Next, you’ll head outdoors to tidy up the Piazza and the entrance area, removing any litter. After enjoying some fresh air, you’ll take a break with your colleagues to recharge. Once refreshed, you’ll proceed to collect soiled linens and trash from housekeeping areas, ensuring your colleagues are pleased with your efforts. Another round of refreshing the restrooms and tidying the lobby will round out your shift, culminating in a handover to your teammates.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Working independently across various shifts (morning, evening, and night)
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our meeting rooms, dining areas, and other public spaces
  • Ensuring every nook and cranny of the hotel is dust-free and gleaming for our guests
  • Keeping all public areas organized and tidy
  • Assisting guests as needed, always with a friendly smile

  • A genuine passion for cleanliness in all environments
  • A proactive approach and adaptability to various tasks and shift patterns
  • Proficient English communication skills; knowledge of Dutch is a plus
