We are seeking a highly motivated and organized laboratory technician to join our team at DSM in Delft. As a lab caretaker, you will play a critical role in maintaining the state-of-the-art application center for food ingredient processing and brewing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lab caretaker tasks: equipment maintenance, chemical management, QESH coordination, and safety rounds.
  • All-around tasks: manage raw material and enzyme collections, prepare samples for sending, and prepare analytical request forms.
  • Regular lab experiments to support brewing and ingredient processing service requests.

You Bring:

  • MBO or HBO education in (bio)chemistry, preferably with a track record in lab training.
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a (bio)chemistry lab, preferably with a lab caretaker role.
  • Familiarity with laboratory analytical equipment, such as HPLC.
  • Love to work in a lab environment and understand the safety regulations needed for a lab environment.
  • Flexible and able to deal with multiple requests on a daily basis.
