Regional Country Finance Lead

At Rockwell Automation, we are seeking a highly skilled Regional Country Controller to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing monthly Trial Balances and preparing Financial Statements. The successful candidate will also lead External Audits and Tax audits, ensuring SOX compliance and acting as the go-to Finance person for the countries under their responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurate reporting of financial data for several countries, including the preparation of HQ reporting packages.
  • Coordination of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
  • Full Country Accounting, Statutory, and Tax responsibility.
  • Ensuring all balance sheet reconciliations are accurate and reconciled.
  • Primary point of contact for Company's external and internal auditors and other outside financial consultants or authorities.
  • Ensuring compliance with Corporate Finance Policies, SOX, and US GAAP.
  • Collaborating with Internal Control for creation, changing, and implementation of financial policies and procedures and financial controls.
  • Providing technical accounting support and guidance to improve processes.
  • Taking part in international projects.
  • Monitoring, challenging, and specifying improvements to business systems and practices to ensure continual adequate control and proper measurement of business activities.
  • Reporting on and commenting upon movements in actual.

Requirements:

  • Work experience of at least 1 year in a similar accounting function in an International company.
  • Experience in a Shared Services environment is preferable.
  • Higher education in accounting or finance with a strong accounting emphasis ACCA, CMA, AA, RC, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Experience in reporting with the Hyperion Financial Management and ERP systems.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to Manager Accounting & Controlling.
