At Wacker Chemie AG, we are seeking an experienced Production Quality Officer to join our team in Amsterdam. In this challenging role, you will play a key part in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our production processes.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Review batch documents and other relevant production documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness in collaboration with production staff.
  • Maintain strict compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures within the production department, including review of logbooks, orderliness, documentation, and other critical areas.
  • Conduct regular checks on the shop floor to ensure operational compliance and progress, identifying and initiating corrective measures as needed.
  • Participate in quality-related investigations and corrective actions, including internal and customer inspections.
  • Perform spot audits, formulate Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) plans in collaboration with the QA department, and contribute to special interdisciplinary task groups where production input is required.
  • Ensure accurate administration of production-related changes, deviations, training courses, and CAPAs using Trackwise.
  • Support production management in staying up-to-date with quality, GMP, and regulatory developments, playing a key role in integrating quality into the company.


Requirements:


  • University or Bachelor degree with relevant experience.
  • Experience working under GMP guidelines in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in quality investigations, change request implementation, and corrective quality actions.
  • Experience driving quality improvements in an operational pharmaceutical organization.
  • Experience with internal and external audits.
  • Good communication skills across various organizational levels.
  • Fluent English and preferably Dutch language skills.
  • Quality awareness, flexibility, and proactivity.
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.
