The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Functional Application Manager to join our team. As a key member of our staff department, you will be responsible for managing functional application activities, addressing operational issues, ensuring data integrity, and collaborating with solution providers for enhancements.
Key Responsibilities- Support application use: Enhance (engineering) applications for the business.
- Develop specifications: Improve existing and new applications.
- Drive performance: Ensure smooth application execution.
- Analyze issues: Collaborate with stakeholders.
- Report bugs: Communicate with external suppliers.
- Advise stakeholders: Align on issue impact.
- Verify solutions: Enhance functionality.
- Provide support: Assist users.
- Test enhancements: Before deployment.
- Contribute to documentation: Training materials and guides.
- 3+ years of experience working in a similar position, preferably in a corporate environment as part of a staff department.
- Experience in application maintenance, preferably within a technical, complex engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Product Lifecycle Management.
- Bachelor's or Master's level in IT or other relevant discipline.
- Experience with 3 DX Dassault Systems or SAP is a plus.
- Good command of the Dutch & English language (written & verbal).
- Excellent references and antecedents as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
