About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled System Owner to lead the Bridge platform team in our Technology Management department. As a System Owner, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the bridge and its related systems across our Workboats product portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define a clear vision and strategy for the Bridge platform, aligning with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Develop and manage the short-, mid-, and long-term Technology Development roadmap, ensuring alignment with ship type development agendas.
- Oversee the development and standardization of modular and scalable system families, variants, and options to meet the needs of our Damen Workboats portfolio.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive innovation and ensure technology development aligns with systems engineering principles and Verification and Validation models.
- Embed knowledge within the organization, establishing training and instruction programs to ensure effective system platform management.
Requirements:
- Academic degree in a technical field, such as Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Process Automation, or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the technical domain in a relevant industry.
- Ability to translate high-level market and business requirements into technology and system development needs.
- Project management skills, with experience in maintaining a clear overview and prioritizing effectively.
- Experience with Systems Engineering principles and the development and integration of marine installations.
- Strong communication skills in English, with Dutch a plus.
