We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Advisory Expert to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Credit Transformation Office, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our lending processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Develop a clear vision for target regulatory compliant and efficient credit lifecycle processes based on client needs, regulatory requirements, and findings.
- Identify gaps between the current state and the target vision, and advise on the most suitable solutions for gap closure.
- Understand the background of ECB observations and findings, and ensure a common understanding within ABN AMRO.
- Assess solutions based on OSI signals, expert opinions, and define a direction to address observations, including achievable vs. initiative timelines and potential trade-offs.
- Define the proper action owner based on the chosen solution, in alignment with responsible recommendation owners.
- Ensure mitigants or risk acceptances are in place where required.
- Identify root causes of deficiencies in credit risk processes and dependencies, and propose sequencing of solutioning to actively resolve them.
- Ensure external deadlines are feasible based on insight into implementation of solutions.
- Maintain a high level of combined regulatory and operational knowledge of lending to handle complex compliance issues, findings, and changes in a timely manner.
- Bring in best practices based on deep understanding of market developments.
The Credit Transformation Office oversees change initiatives that are responsible for building a future-proof and robust credit landscape. We are working on integrated IT systems that enable us to do our work efficiently, deliver accurate and timely reports, and meet customer needs.
About You- You have a keen interest in lending, regulations, change, and credit risk.
- You understand business and financial risk dynamics and have a good understanding of the lending side of banks.
