VDI Technology Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled VDI Technology Lead to join our IT End User Services team at ASML. As a key member of our Agile-DevOps team, you will be responsible for the operational health and operation of our delivered VDI services, as well as the guidance, design, and implementation of innovations and large complex changes.
You will work closely with our "Business as Usual" support teams to ensure that initiatives are brought into service smoothly, and form a bridge between different service providers who deliver a part of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Technical responsibility for multiple initiatives and changes, as well as the execution of different roadmap initiatives in the Virtual Workplace Area.
- Drive initiatives based on expertise and enthusiasm to change, delivering designs and implementing changes within the Agile DevOps team.
- Work within the architecture framework set by the ASML Workplace architect, collaborating with the Product Owner to map the product roadmap and priorities to the technology and architecture roadmap for the VDI service.
- Contribute to the Digital Workplace (DW) Agile Release Train, providing workplace services for ASML staff worldwide and 3rd party Suppliers.
- Bachelor level Information Technology or similar.
- 5 years relevant working experience as Citrix specialist.
- Technology platform knowledge of Citrix VDI and Azure VDI.
- Experienced in the Citrix App Layered SW Technology.
- Strong focus on quality and acting according to agreements.
- Driving force to improve and innovate our services with a strong end-user focus.
- Good communication skills and able to work in an ecosystem.
- Preferably a strong community member and aware of the latest technologies.
- IT Architecture skills.
- Expert-level skills on Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix Xenserver, Windows 10/11.
- Senior-level skills on Netscaler (Access gateway only).
- Senior-level skills on hyper-converged infrastructure (preferably Cisco UCS).
- Senior-level skills on MS Azure and Citrix cloud.
- Medior-level skills on Redhat Linux (supported by an ASML Linux expert).
- Medior-level skills on VMWare vSphere.
Preferred start date: ASAP.
Assignment duration: 36 Months.
Flex type: Competency.
FTE: 40 hours.
Shift: Regular Day Shift.
Working from home: Partially, 3 days in the office.
Department: Core IT Infra - End User Service.
Preferred language: English.
