Job Overview
Ultimum is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Advisor to join its Project Management Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and executing risk management for portfolios, programs, and projects within the Water Systems, Wastewater, and Drinking Water value chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement risk management strategies for projects and programs.
- Identify and assess potential risks, providing recommendations for mitigation and control measures.
- Collaborate with the Project Management Team to establish and monitor risk management processes.
- Act as a key liaison between the Project Management Team and the Risk Management group.
- Organize and facilitate risk management sessions, maintaining accurate risk dossiers.
- Provide expert advice to the Project Management Team, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders on risk management best practices.
- Contribute to tactical and strategic decision-making, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Mandatory Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a risk management advisor in the past 10 years.
- Proven experience with independently building a risk dossier and following the risk management process according to the RISMAN model.
Education
- A completed HBO degree in infrastructure-related or financial, economic, or business administration fields.
Language
- Proficiency in Dutch, both written and spoken.
Skills
- Analytical and communicative mindset.
- Ability to work independently and bring innovative ideas and plans.
Requirements
More than 3 years of proven experience in risk management in complex construction and/or infrastructure projects with various sub-projects, phases, and parties.
Experience as a risk management advisor in a project team, according to the IPM collaboration model.
Knowledge and experience of risk management in relation to different types of contracts (UAV, UAV-GC).
Proven knowledge of and experience with System-Oriented Contract Management (SCB).
Proven knowledge and experience of risk management in relation to probabilistic planning and the SSK methodology, and experience with the necessary output from risk management.
