PhD Position in Machine Learning for Supramolecular Biomaterials

Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is seeking a talented PhD candidate to develop a machine learning workflow for high-throughput screening of supramolecular biomaterials.
About the ProjectThe PhD will be part of the Groeifonds program "Big Chemistry" and will work closely with other PhD students and post-docs on this topic.
Responsibilities- Develop a machine learning workflow for high-throughput screening of biomaterials
- Collaborate with the Synthetic Biology group and other researchers on the project
- Contribute to the development of a high-throughput screening lab for supramolecular biomaterials
- Master's degree in chemical engineering and/or (bio)informatics
- Prior experience with machine learning and/or laboratory automation
- Prior experience with Python
- Research-oriented attitude with an analytical mindset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Full-time employment for four years with an intermediate evaluation after nine months
- Salary and benefits in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities
