Salary
We offer an attractive salary between €72,000 and €96,000 per year, based on your knowledge and experience, plus an annual bonus up to 10% of your gross annual salary.
Job Description
As a Quality Manager at Canpack Netherlands B.V., you will lead our Quality Department to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
You will be responsible for shaping our quality strategy, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the quality strategy
- Ensuring that products delivered to customers fulfill agreed and defined quality and sustainability requirements
- Overseeing quality innovation and improvement projects
- Managing and certification of the local Quality integrated management system
- Managing customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and services that meet group QA expectations
A typical week as a Quality Manager at Canpack Netherlands B.V. may involve:
- A weekly check-in with your direct reports (QC Manager, CTS Manager, QMS Engineer and QI Engineer), to coach and motivate them
- Collecting Quality data to present to HQ
- Developing, implementing, verifying and validating food safety and QA processes and procedures used to monitor and update quality systems
- Managing BRCGS deviations, immediately and on an ongoing basis
- Assisting in the training and development of production staff in these areas
- Coodinating the delivery and service of our products between operations and CTS
- Conducting Gemba walks and engaging with frontline employees
- Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the Qualities departments success
- Braunstorming about and initiating improvements to support all Canpack staff in achieving quality and safety objectives
- Coodrating production site processes with Quality systems like ISO, BRC, and DPG
What we are looking for
- Passion for quality and ability to inspire change and influence diverse stakeholders
- Strong communication skills to convey complex Quality concepts in an engaging, relatable way that resonates with all levels of the organization
- Born leader enthusiastic about creating a shared vision and capable of mentoring and developing Quality team members
- Analytical thinking and skilled in data-driven decision-making
- Higher vocational (HBO) or university (WO) degree in a Business/Industrial Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience with Quality Management, preferably in a manufacturing company
- Familiarity with ISO/BRC standards, HACCP principles, and health & safety regulations
- Excellent command of English (and Dutch) language (B2 level)
