Physics Internship: Theoretical Investigation of Optical Systems

We are seeking a highly motivated master student in physics to join our team as a theoretical physics intern. The successful candidate will have a strong background in theoretical physics, optics, and Fourier analysis, and will be able to develop analytical and/or numerical physical models to understand the behavior of advanced light sources.

Your AssignmentAs a theoretical physics intern, you will be working on developing analytical and/or numerical physical models to understand the behavior of advanced light sources. You will also be responsible for optimizing properties of optical systems and exploring novel optical metrology concepts. The assignment may be more analytically or numerically oriented, depending on your preference.
Your ProfileTo be a successful candidate, you should have a master's degree in physics, with a strong background in theoretical physics, optics, and Fourier analysis. You should also have a critical thinking approach, be driven, and have good communication skills. Additionally, you should have knowledge of scientific programming languages like Mathematica, Matlab, or Python, and be able to speak and write English on an advanced level.
