VIE Site Quality Engineer

Valeo is a leading global automotive supplier, and we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our VIE Program. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, and for implementing quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and assess product non-conformities to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by challenging, following up on, and auditing supplier results.
- Interface between operational quality/warranty teams and suppliers worldwide.
- Follow up on Supplier Chargeback.
- Support and develop Division Business Management Systems (e.g. ISO) for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Act as driver for continuous improvement in processes and departments.
- Act regularly as internal auditor in the sub-region to ensure continuous improvement.
- Graduated from an Engineering degree in Quality.
- Ideal experience in a Quality environment in a production plant.
- Knowledge of ISO certifications and audits in general.
- Ideal experience with standard quality tools like PDCA-FTA, FMEA, 5Why, etc.
- Fluent level of English.
- Good communication skills, international mindset, and open-minded to new cultures and ways of working and thinking.
- Humble, listening, positive attitude-oriented, professional, and sense of diplomacy.
