In-House Technician

Technical Support Role

At Kongsberg Maritime Netherlands BV, we are seeking an In-House Technician to join our expanding Rental and Repair team in The Netherlands. This is a unique opportunity to work with leading technology and contribute to a challenging and varied role.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing in-house test/inspection and repair of rental or customer equipment. This will involve maintaining rental equipment in good working condition, checking scope of delivery/returns, and monitoring the status of customer repair jobs. Additionally, the candidate will maintain and organize a clean workshop, outside container storage facility, and tools/equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-house test/inspection and repair of rental or customer equipment
• Maintain rental equipment in good working condition
• Check scope of delivery/returns before and after rental according to checklist
• Monitor the status of customer repair jobs and ensure all data is entered correctly and kept up-to-date on service database(s)
• Maintain and organize a clean workshop, outside container storage facility, and tools/equipment
• Support the Rental & Repair team with order processing activities
• Documentation and reporting

Requirements

• A degree in Electro, Hydrography, or Subsea systems (or relevant experience)
• Interested in hydrographic products
• General good knowledge of computer & network systems/data communication
• Natural ability to handle administrative and reporting tasks
• Proficient written and oral skills in Dutch and English
