Data Governance Risk Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Risk Officer to join our Data & Analytics department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective governance of our data assets and identifying potential risks to our business.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement audit tests to ensure compliance with GDPR, IT controls, and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist business owners in monitoring and assessing user access to critical transactions and data platforms.
- Identify and mitigate risks within data platform projects.
- Develop and implement controls to ensure timely and accurate execution of IT controls.
- Provide subject matter expertise on control design, implementation, and standardisation.
- Support the development of risk management guidance for technology stakeholders.
- Master or bachelor degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
- Prior experience in Information Systems / IT Auditing and preferably with Big 4 experience.
- Ability to facilitate and organise diverse stakeholders to achieve business results.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Fluency in English language.
- Experience working with SOX or similar ICFR frameworks and solid understanding of COSO and COBIT internal control frameworks.
