Global Professional Services Director

About the Role

The Global Professional Services Director will lead all service sales, planning, execution, and financial priorities for all regional teams at Bizzdesign. This role requires a strategic leader with excellent leadership experience, a thorough understanding of software sales and services practices, and the ability to cultivate large cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee regional and local Professional Services operations
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all Professional Services topics, including escalations with strategic global customers
  • Lead the team in delivering high-impact Professional Services projects for both customers and the company
  • Drive services commercial processes: long-term planning, Quarterly Business Reviews, demand forecasting, and pipeline analysis
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Executive team and peers in CCO on Professional Services initiatives
  • Collaborate with the Sales team, Bizzdesign University, Customer Success, and Global Services to improve the entire customer journey (sales, adoption, value delivery, expansion)
  • Analyze and report on core business metrics, from budget to realization and KPIs to corporate objectives
  • Performance tracking, with a focus on optimizing external billability and quality
  • Identify and act on opportunities for process and performance improvement
  • Lead a team of senior directors, fostering a culture aligned with Bizzdesign's core values
  • Support individual development and promote talent retention
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration for strategic alignment, high-quality deliverables, and performance targets
  • Build trust as a strategic partner to senior and executive stakeholders
  • Provide impartial recommendations and actionable insights
  • Communicate clearly with leaders and teams across functions to ensure business processes are effectively supported

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial mindset, being able to oversee and manage diverse teams with diverse goals across multiple regions
  • PhD, MA/MS, or BS/BA degree with 15+ years of sales and/or services experience
  • Excellent leadership experience with demonstrated experience in changing a consultancy organization towards industry standards regarding planning, efficiency, planning, and billability
  • Thorough understanding of software sales and services practices, including software implementation processes, business consultancy, and technical integration projects
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate large cross-functional initiatives and guide laterally and vertically
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities based on changing business needs, as well as the ability to work in a team-based, dispersed, matrix-led organization
  • Thorough organizational, planning, communication, and management skills
  • Creative and thoughtful problem-solving skills
  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills, ability to lead, guide, resolve conflict, and cultivate consensus among diverse cross-functional stakeholders
  • Willingness & ability to travel regularly, including our regional locations in the US, Mexico, and Singapore
