OSP Senior Network Operations Manager

Zayo is seeking a seasoned OSP Project Manager to oversee the planning and implementation of fiber connectivity solutions programs and projects.
About the Role- Manage relationships with jurisdictions and ROW contacts, including cities, counties, and railroad.
- Oversee timely permitting submittal and on-time performance of engineering and construction vendors.
- Design and implement commercial and carrier fiber networks, infrastructure, backbone, and lateral builds.
- Work within a data center environment implementing customer-installation projects and services.
- Create and track project budgets in relation to network operations.
- Provide direct interface with customers, subcontractors, jurisdictional authorities, and interoffice personnel.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
- Minimum seven years in the telecommunications industry with outside plant, fiber optics, telecommunications architectures, optical transport equipment, and project management experience.
- Minimum four years familiarity with all types of outside plant construction and experience managing large capital projects.
- Familiarity with email, MS Excel, Word, Google Earth, and AutoCad.
- Ability to manage multiple aggressive RFP and design construction schedules and responses.
- Ability to understand and read construction documents.
- Familiar with all facets of OSP management, including quoting, construction, and delivery.
