About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our Product-Design-Engineering (PDE) teams at Lepaya. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping innovative user experiences and driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop user-centered solutions for our products, from introduction through maturity.
  • Conduct research and user testing to inform design decisions and ensure a high-quality user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers and Engineers, to define and iterate the product roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and collaborate with engineers to implement design components.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to shape and refine the product life cycle, working with Lean UX product principles.
  • Design and create prototypes and wireframes using Figma and other tools, keeping business impact and customer needs in focus.
  • Extract actionable insights from complex problems, balancing customer and business needs, and practicing effective UX reviewing.
  • Work with the engineering team members to work on system components, ensuring adherence to usability heuristics.
  • Support the team's growth and continuous learning in design review sessions.
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of UX design experience, with a proven track record of designing for the complete product lifecycle.
  • Hands-on experience with various research and user testing methods, including interviewing, card sorting, and usability testing.
  • Data-driven mindset and ability to recommend conclusions from qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Full proficiency in Figma for UI designing and prototyping.
  • Experience in design systems and collaborating with engineers to implement design components.
  • Ability to work autonomously within a development team to deliver high-quality outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Information Architecture and Human-Centered Design principles.
  • Ability to contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
  • Basic understanding of UX copy to complement design processes.
  • Experience in mentoring junior designers.
