Position Overview

We are thrilled to announce an opening for a Brand Manager specializing in OTC products, particularly the Davitamon brand, within our Rotterdam office.

Role Responsibilities

We are seeking two dynamic Brand Managers: one focusing on our OTC portfolio and the other dedicated to the Davitamon brand.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee brand and marketing initiatives in the Dutch market. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager, fellow Brand Managers, and Marketing Assistants, you will contribute significantly to the advancement of our OTC offerings and the Davitamon brand.

Your interactions will extend to various departments including Category Management, Media Management, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, and Central Marketing, with reporting responsibilities to the Marketing Manager.

Key Duties:

Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities, including:

  • Market Analysis: Conducting thorough evaluations of brand performance, market trends, and dynamics to inform strategic decisions, supported by well-defined business cases.
  • Innovation Management: Acting as the commercial lead and project manager for new product development initiatives, collaborating with central innovation and marketing teams to create and execute long-term innovation strategies.
  • P&L Oversight: Managing the financial performance of the OTC products and Davitamon brand, including sales growth and profitability, while proactively adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Media Strategy: Developing, assessing, and optimizing marketing campaigns specific to OTC products and Davitamon, guided by established KPIs.
  • Communication Strategy: Crafting comprehensive communication plans and determining key touchpoints, while collaborating with the central marketing team and Marketing Assistants to produce impactful marketing assets.
  • Consumer Research: Partnering with the central team to gather and analyze consumer insights, translating findings into compelling propositions tailored for the Dutch market.
Qualifications

What are the essential qualifications for success in this position?

  • A strong passion for OTC products or dietary supplements.
  • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and curiosity.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data sets and deriving actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade stakeholders at all levels.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG or OTC marketing.
  • A relevant university degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in product innovation and new product development processes, as well as business marketing and P&L management.
  • Proven track record in brand strategy, advertising, asset production, and media planning.
  • Fluency in Dutch and strong English language skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects in an international corporate setting.
