Clinical Development Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet their clinical and economic requirements.
  • Support all phases of the product life cycle, from development and launch to training, positioning, and obsolescence.
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of key surgical procedures and products through observation, discussions with clinicians, and research.
  • Identify and understand emerging surgical procedures and technologies, and facilitate the adoption of new techniques and practices.
  • Stay up-to-date on healthcare systems, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes in various countries.
  • Evaluate opportunities to support surgeon-led clinical research and provide insights to inform product development.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and develop solutions to drive product sales.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field, such as healthcare.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience in healthcare or a similar role.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and continuous learning skills.
  • Availability to travel frequently, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of colorectal, general, bariatric, urologic, and/or gynecologic surgery and products.
  • Knowledge of European healthcare systems and dynamics.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in French, German, and/or Italian language.
