As a Senior R&D Project Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading the development of innovative technology, module, and integration projects for our Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) solutions.
About the RoleYou'll work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team to deliver successful projects and highly performing teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Programming and execution of projects, such as System Integration, large Modules, and NSRs for one or more portfolios.
- Implementing meticulous review processes and setting clear expectations around key project results.
- Ensuring consistency with the Product Management Process and defined delivery schedules.
- Collaborating with multi-functional teams, including marketing, manufacturing, service, and finance, to ensure breakthrough specifications are delivered.
- Providing financial/budgetary analysis to support the R&D budgeting process.
- Managing program scope within agreed budget, timeline, and quality.
- Vetting, evaluating, and championing new insights for potential product concepts using intelligent risk-taking and innovation tools.
- Leading others to refine their ideas and look for alliances.
- Participating and promoting intellectual property-related idea generation and development.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A University Degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of work experience, with 7+ years confirmed experience in systems or subsystems project management.
- A consistent track record of leading complicated engineering projects through a defined product development process.
- Ability to build consensus among key collaborators.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain business and technical concepts to a variety of audiences.
- Ability to lead and assign specific duties, building a constructive and coordinated working relationship.
